Hello Families!

We are delighted to welcome you to another exciting year of Church School! Classes for all students, from Preschool (age 2) through Grade 10 and up, will begin on Sunday, September 13, 2026.

This year’s theme will be “One Body in Christ: Fellowship and Friendship,” reminding us that we grow in our Orthodox faith best when we grow together as members of Christ’s Body.   Throughout the year, our dedicated teachers will continue developing engaging, age-appropriate lessons that help our children come to know the Orthodox faith more deeply—and to know God Himself. As part of this journey, we will take a deeper look at Saint Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians, exploring what it means to live as one family in Christ and discovering the unique role each of us plays in God’s Church.

Church School begins immediately following Holy Communion. Children will be dismissed from their pews into the Communion line and then proceed directly to their classrooms. Adults will be invited into the Communion line after the children and Church School staff, allowing our classes to begin promptly. Church School concludes each Sunday at 12:00 noon.

Our Church School ministry flourishes because of the partnership between our teachers and our families. We encourage you to continue the conversations at home by talking with your children about what they are learning, praying together, and making your Orthodox faith part of everyday life. If you would ever like ideas or resources to help nurture your family’s faith, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Fr. Greg or any member of our Church School staff. We are always happy to help.

If your children haven’t attended Church School in a while—or have never attended before— it’s never too late to join us! Everyone is welcome, and we’d love to have your family be part of this year’s journey.

We are truly blessed with an amazing team of devoted, creative teachers who are passionate about helping our children know, love, and live the Orthodox faith. We look forward to welcoming your family on September 13 for another wonderful year of learning, growing, and building lasting friendships in Christ.
