Fr. John Teebagy
Welcome from

Fr. John K. Teebagy

Dear Parishioners and Visitors,

Thank you for visiting our website.

Our parish is a vibrant and welcoming community composed of almost 900 people of all ages and backgrounds who come from all over the greater Boston area. On behalf of the parishioners, I personally would like to invite you to visit and worship with us.

Please continue to browse our website to learn more about the parish and The Orthodox Church, but the best way to learn about the Orthodox Faith is simply to "come and see" (John 1:39).

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

May God bless you richly, and we look forward to seeing you soon. Until then, I remain

In Christ,

+ Fr. John K. Teebagy

Regarding Confessions

While it is not necessary to make a confession before Communion every Sunday (unless a serious sin has been committed), all Orthodox Christians are asked to reflect upon their spiritual lives constantly and to make confession periodically (typically every three to four months).

Confessions are heard during Matins, as time permits, after Liturgy, or by appointment. Please await your turn by sitting in the fourth pew on the left side of the Church, while reciting the pre-communion prayers, which can be found in the red service book on pages 204-208.

A Note to our Visitors

We are glad to have you worshipping with us today.  We hope you will sign our guest register and will introduce yourself to Fr. John after the service.  Please also join us for coffee following Liturgy.

Since we understand Communion to be a sign of our unity of faith, only Orthodox Christians who have prepared themselves through prayer, fasting and periodic confession are permitted to participate in Holy Communion.  All present, however, are welcome to partake of the blessed bread, which is distributed at the end of the service.
